Ourse Blanche works with GOTS-labeled silk woven in France. All the silk pieces are printed and made by hand in France, in workshops labeled “Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant” (Living Heritage Companies)

The artistic universe of this painting is inspired by the San of the Kalahari Desert’s artcraft, in Namibia. Their craftsmanship is recognized for beadwork embroidery. Their purified style often represents one or more animals.
